Color Disclaimer

All fabrics used to make the products on our website are dyed to get their color, which is the standard procedure as well, for similar products made and sold  in South Asian markets. We cannot give guarantee for color since the life of the color depends solely on how each individual handles / cares for the product. The colors are guaranteed not to come off from our products on use or contact. If the products are cared for in the proper way, the colors will stay the same for the life of the outfit. We recommend professional dry cleaning of products purchased from our website.

Clothing Care

All silks and hand embroidered outfits need to be preserved in a correct manner to ensure that the outfit you order stays in the best condition for a long time. Any embroidery exposed to moisture, perfume or any other element that contains alcohol will blacken the embroidery immediately. It is therefore advisable to keep all embroidered outfits wrapped in muslin cloth if possible. Make sure when you fold embroidered outfits there is minimal friction between the cloth and the embroidery. If you notice any loose thread on the fabric or on the embroidery DO NOT try to pull it out. Simply use scissors to cut it off neatly. Dry cleaning is recommended for all outfits and sarees. However, we will not be responsible for any damage that may occur during any dry cleaning job done by our customer. All products are hand-embroidered. Thus it may so happen that the embroidery may loosen up with usage and with time. This is a natural characteristic of all hand-embroidered outfit / product and it cannot be treated or termed as defective by our customer.

Jewelry Care

All costume jewelry with gold or silver polish will fade off or become dull with the passage of time. We have few suggestions to help you maximize the duration of the original look of your jewelry purchased from Khaas.

• Do not let perfume or any liquids with alcohol content come in direct contact with the jewelry.
• Do not leave jewelry open or unpacked for a long period of time.

Cushion Cover Care
These are hand woven fabrics. They do not carry any guarantee at all. Please dry clean only.

Scarves/ Stoles/ Shawls Care
We recommend that you dry clean all embroidered and silk products. Also refer to “Clothing Care” above as all of the same applies to scarves, stoles, shawls etc.
